JOHN B. LOCK DEAD

Retired Grocer Was Resident of Campbell-co for 74 Years

John B. Lock, 86, of 1335 S. Ft. Thomas-av, for 74 years a resident of Campbell-co and for many years one of the best known men in the county died at his home Monday night after an illness of a week.

He conducted a grocery store at Eighth and Monmouth streets for many years. He retired several years ago.

He was a member of Robert Burns Lodge, F. and A. M., and a member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church, of Newport. Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Evergreen Cemetery Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Services will be private.

Six children survive. They are: W. E. Lock, Cincinnati; Fred J. Lock and John B. Lock Jr., Ft. Thomas; Mrs. Clifford C. Southgate, Ft. Thomas; Mrs. Fred L. Henger (Hanger), Detroit; and Mrs. Clyde Congrove, Hyde Park, Cincinnati.10
