Enid, OK — TOWANDA, Ill. — Kirbie N. Brittain, 15, of Towanda, died at 2:35 a.m. Monday Sept. 1, 2008, at Haven House in St. Louis, MO.

Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday Sept. 5, 2008, at Calvary United Methodist Church, Normal, with Rev. Dr. Randall Perry officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday Sept. 4, 2008, at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, and 2-3 p.m. Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Kirbie Brittain c/o First Bank, 201 N. Prospect, Bloomington, IL 61704.

Kirbie was born May 10, 1993, in Tulsa, OK the daughter of Rodney M. and Joni K. Bracher Brittain.

She is survived by her parents; one brother, Spencer S. Brittain of the home; maternal grandparents, Worth and Dorothy Bracher of Enid, OK and paternal great-grandmother, Floy Brittain of Enid, OK.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ted and Kay Brittain.

Kirbie was a sophomore at Normal Community High School and a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, both in Normal.1
