Mother of Local Banker Dies at Enid

Mrs. Annie M. Horner, wife of H. N. Horner, Sr. of Enid, died in that city Sunday. Her son, H. N. Horner, Jr., vice president of First National Bank of Davis, was with her at the time of her death, having gone Saturday to visit her. She sustained a stroke of paralysis in March from which effects she never recovered.

Mrs. Horner was 64 years old and is survived by her husband and four sons, namely: John T. of Detroit, Stanley F. and Clifford C. of Enid, and Harry N. of Davis. Her two brothers and one sister preceded her to the grave. She was born in Kentucky, had lived in Oklahoma since 1889, and in Enid since 1893. She was buried there Wednesday afternoon.

Having visited in Davis a number of times Mrs. Horner was known by a number of Davis citizens, and admired and esteemed by her friends here. News of her death brought sadness to them.10
