Glendon Francis Smith
M, #10276, b. 28 Aug 1922, d. 4 Dec 2008
Parents
Note | | Glendon Francis Smith. Glen began life on the Smith farm when one horsepower really meant the pulling power of one horse. He progressed in agriculture and proved to be an analytical thinker and problem solver. That is, until he met Betty Miller in Frankton, Indiana school. Then she was all he thought of. They married early, but WWII interrupted their plans. He joined the Army Air Corp, assigned to the 44th Division. Following his service he developed hay fever and moved the family to Arizona. After working for Motorola, he founded a million dollar company and enjoyed exploring the mountains. Later in life he spent summers in Indiana with two of his sisters.1 |

They bought their own farm just S/W of Elwood City and worked hard to build it up. Money was scarce, however she managed to take care of her family getting the boys to Little League games and Sunday School in the Aroma Methodist church.
