Myrtle M. Koehn

Myrtle M. Koehn, a longtime resident of Winton, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 with her loving family by her side. Myrtle was born May 26, 1918 in Copeland KS, to Isaac and Lena Unruh. She came to Winton in 1936.

Mrs. Koehn is survived by her children Kenneth Giesbrecht of Atwater, Richard Giesbrecht of Artois, CA, Lawrence Giesbrecht of TX, Lester Giesbrecht of Winton, Marlene Giesbrecht of Canada, and DeAnna Litwiller of KY. Also surviving are her stepchildren Jeanette Dirks, Lillian Mastre both of ID and Orville Koehn of Winton. She will be greatly missed by her 29 grandchildren, 98 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren as well as her 16 step grandchildren, 60 step great grandchildren and 8 step great great grandchildren . Myrtle was preceded in death by 6 brothers, 1 stepson, 3 grandsons and 3 great granddaughters and 2 step grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to attend visitation on Friday, Jan 7, 2011 from 3-7pm at Wilson Family Funeral Chapel, 1290 Winton Way, Atwater, Funeral services will be held on Sat., January 8, 2011 at 10:00 am at The Church of God in Christ Mennonite, Winton, CA. Burial will follow at Winton District Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Family Funeral Chapel of Atwater.2
