Note* He Emigrated to Poland, Russia in 1867. In 1877 a group of six families thought the Lord was coming and decided to go to Jerusalem. Because of the constant wars between the nations, they got as far as Turkey. They lived in Turkey for five years, and during that time Typhiod Fever broke out taking the lives of five of the six fathers in the group. Among the deceased was Benjamin. In 1882 Eva and her six children came to America in the company of the five other families. They settled near Halstead, Kansas.1
