He was a graduate of Wichita, Kansas, Business College and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Burrton, Kansas. He had lived in this area since 1936. He owned and operated the Lucky-U Market in Oakridge for several years and owned the first self-operated laundry in Eugene. He is survived by his wife, Ethel "Peggy" Fern Wilson, of Eugene, one daughter, Juanita Russell of Wilsonville, Oregon, two sons Eugene William and Donald L. both of Eugene, on brother, Jack Wilson of Salem, Oregon, one sister, Leona Krehbiel of Burrton, Kansas, thirteen grandchildren, ninteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two children Kenneth King Wilson and Sharon Lee Lipsit. Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 3, 1981, at 11 a.m. in Lane Memorial Gardens, Eugene, Oregon, with Reverend Roy Finch of the Eugene First Methodist Church officiating.
