NoteShe. The obituary for Charles David Noel does not list Marvin Noel as a brother of Charles, so there is an error in the data. The possibilities are:

(1) Marvin's name was accidentally omitted from the obituary.
(2) Marvin was deceased by the time Charles died. This cannot be the case because Marvin appears in the 1940 census.
(3) Marvin was not yet born. The 1940 Census gives his age as 7 so he would have already been born. No other proof substantiating the 1940 census has been found.
(4) Marvin (and also Marion) are not actually children of Withrown Noel and Ethel Botkins. This relationship is given in the 1940 Census and nothing else else has been found to disprove or prove this.

It seems most likely that the error is in the obituary. This finding also applies to Marvin's twin, Marion.
