ROBERT L. KOEHN

Funeral services for Robert L. Koehn, 72, were at 2 p.m. Monday, October 31, 1994, at the Church of God in Christ Mennonite.

The Rev. Carl Nightingale and Rev. Randy Levings officiated. Burial followed in the Cedar Cemetery under the direction of the Fairview Funeral Home.

Koehn was born June 10, 1922, at Fairview to Nathaniel C. and Linda (Kehn) Koehn, and died Saturday, Oct. 29, 1994, at the Fairview Hospital.

He lived in Fairview all his life. He served in the U.S. Army Combat Infantry during World War II in Germany. While in the Service he received two Bronze Service Stars, among other citation and decorations.

He married Waunita Nightengale in Dodge City, Kan., on Aug. 1, 1946. Koehn worked for David and Henry Martens of Fairview moving houses and later worked as a carpenter for Vernon Fast. After retiring in 1983 he did woodcraft in his own shop.

He is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, Yvonne Jones of Enid and Shirley Hauser of Okeene; three granddaughters; six brothers, Harold, Claud, Martin, Leonard and Lawrence, all of Ringwood, and Mike of Fairview; and two sisters, Rosetta Schmidt of Livingston, Calif., and Wilma Ciskowski of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
